The volunteers who built a Ecovilla Laos

I decided to offer you a small video regarding a travel project in Laos. Together with the help of World Volunteer ( ), six Swedes went into the jungles of Laos to build small bungalows in order to create an ecological resort. Creating micro tourism will help the village keep its roots and culture from disappearing.

Be volunteer in Laos and South East Asia

World Volunteer was established by its two founders, David and Jesper. They have worked in South East Asia since 2004 on various projects of volunteerism and education. These projects are created to be beneficial for the local community. They work mainly in Laos and Sri Lanka, and have good partnerships with local organizations. Visit the website to learn more about their activities.

We as individuals can give back during these trips. Everything can be planned during our charitable actions. We can easily hurt or help organizations with questionable practices that could help the local population. People really need targeted help and tools that will help them grow and be independent in future years.

Be twice as responsible and be informed before donating or participating in a humanitarian project. Be sure to deal with real organizations and those of quality, not local charlatans or foreigners who live on the naivety of tourists.
